A 3 hour-drive from Shillong, the state capital of Meghalaya takes you to this beautiful ‘living root bridge’ over a water fall at village, Mawlynnong.
In fact, living root bridges are common among the areas inhabited by Khasi tribes. They use tender roots into scaffoldings which result in these bridges – a perfect example of natural answers to human needs.
