Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria is IAF Chief

Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria has taken over as the 26th Chief of the Air Staff, September 30,2019.   

 He succeeds Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa who superannuated after a distinguished service.  

  The new chief of the Indian Air Force said the focus would be to rapidly operationalise newly inducted platforms and equipment into the IAF. 

  An alumnus of the prestigious National Defence Academy, Air Chief Marshal Bhadauria graduated from the Air Force Academy with the coveted ‘Sword of Honour’ and was commissioned in the fighter stream of IAF on June 15, 1980.
