ICC World Cup: All teams playing favourites

When legendary Vivian Richards was asked whether he would agree that the Kapil Dev squad which defeated West Indies to lift the ICC World Cup in 1983 was a better  team; the legendary cricketer replied , yes, it was so on that day.
What Richards said about 1983 , is true even today. Any  of the 10 teams playing for the 2019 World Cup in   UK can be better on one day, while the loser can be a winner tomorrow. That has been the story so far. Pakistan looked a horrible squad when West Indies humiliated it in its opening match but the same team of Sarfaraz Ahmad played its heart out at the Trent Bridge ground to beat convincingly host England.
And then , the way Bangladesh made its mark by beating South Africa, which has been the only team which has been on a losing wicket so far. It has gone down under against India, Bangladesh and England . But for most of the  rest of the teams, their performance can be the best today; worse tomorrow.
So, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Australia, New Zealand and England are all very much the favourties, at this stage of the tournament.
