World’s largest cricket stadium named after PM Modi

  Motera stadium in Ahmedabad, in its new avatar as the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium has become the world’s largest cricket stadium with a capacity of 1.32 lakh spectators. It was inaugurated by President Ram Nath Kovind, on February 24, 2021.

 The stadium was not only the largest in the world but also provides world-class facilities for various sporting activities, according to an official release. India-England Day-Night Test is the first international match being played on the stadium .
